How do I mount the Cargo CUBE to my cargo bike?

TILER supplies an adapter bracket that securely attaches the Cargo CUBE to the existing stand of your cargo bike.
How many charging TILES can I connect on a single power outlet?

A regular 230V 16A domestic wall outlet can support up to 24 charge points charging at full power simultaneously. If you have specific power limitations in your applications do get in touch to discuss the possibilities.
Can TILER also charge e-cargo bikes, e-scooters and other forms of light-electric vehicles?

The TILER Compact TILE is ready to charge any light electric vehicle with a compatible kickstand. If you own a regular eBike simply mount a TILER kickstand. For cargo bikes use the Cargo CUBE. Kickstand options for eMopeds and eStep-Scooters will follow.
Can you buy the TILER charging kickstands separately?

Yes, the TILER charging kickstand can be sold separately to connect multiple e-bikes to your TILER Charging station.
How is the TILER charging kickstand connected to the e-bike battery?

The TILER charging kickstand is connected to the battery with an adapter cable. This cable is neatly concealed, attached to the e-bike, and integrated in the bike’s wiring loom or plugged into the external charge port.
Does the charging system require that users park the bike in a precise way?

No, there is some play in the placement of the Charging Kickstand on the tile. The range for connecting is approximately 50 mm back and forth and 100 mm sideways so that even when the bike is parked a bit outside the yellow guidance for placement the bike will start charging.
Is there a difference in efficiency in comparison to a regular charger?

No there’s no difference in efficiency. Our patented coil design and high quality components ensure that the efficiency is at least on par with your normal wired charger.
Is the charging speed the same speed as with a regular charger?

The TILER system charges at the same speed as most chargers that you get with the purchase of your bike. A 500Wh battery will be charged fully in about 3,5 hours.
How is the e-bike charged?

The TILER charging tile works in combination with the TILER charging kickstand or Cargo CUBE. The charging kickstand is connected to the wiring loom of the e-bike and the energy is transferred wirelessly to kickstand via induction. That means you don’t have to plug chargers in and out. Charging happens automatically whenever the bike is parked.
Is the charging solution compatible with every e-bike?

It’s TILER’s mission to build a universal charging system on which all e-bikes (and in the future other light-electric vehicles as well) can be charged. Currently we are compatible with GoBao, Bosch, Yamaha, Bafang, Zehus and many other brands. If you want to know whether your battery and motor are already supported please get in touch.
